Tooth Removal
At Northern Beaches Dental, we always try our best to save natural teeth but sometimes tooth removal is the most practical choice.
After a tooth has been removed we can provide you with a temporary prosthesis to wear while your gums heal. If the tooth is in a highly visible area of your mouth, we can organise an immediate denture to be made prior to getting your tooth out, which can be fitted at the same time the tooth is taken out. This will help temporarily until you decide on a more long-term option to replace the tooth. If you intend to have dental implants, it may be possible to place the implant at the same time as your tooth is taken out.
